GADGETRY
Electronics and Gizmos
As a Graphic Designer for POP support sales, a Display Artist for CPG, or a team leader on a marketing communications project, I have been able to convey the client's desires to their specific market in the advertising. I implicitly understand the current state and progression of this category.
AUTOMOTIVE
Vehicles For Sale
The Automotive Industry always has money to spend on advertising, even in a bad economy. I've done more double-trucks, centerspreads, back covers, full page newspaper and magazine ads than I'd care to remember. Some of them were packed with deals and bargains with over 100 models and descriptions in the ad, while others were done in a more subtle, classy way to bring in the car buyers. Apparantly, all methods work.
RETAIL
For Public Use and Consumption
Retailers sell finished goods to consumers for cash, which is the pulse of a capitalist economy. My ads help increase sales for products and services sold through stores, restaurants, kiosks, mail or the Internet and include grocery, beauty salons, drug, department and convenient stores. I've done hundreds of hair, nail and tanning salons. and over a thousand restaurants and bars (alcohol is a retail product, too). Even McDonald's sells its pre-packaged goods as a food retailer.
